Concrete Driveways Built for the Desert

Phoenix is brutal on concrete. Triple-digit summers, monsoon runoff and expansive desert soil all work against a slab that was poured thin or on a bad base. That's why a concrete driveway here isn't just about the mix — it's about what happens underneath it before the truck ever shows up.

We excavate to the right depth, compact the subgrade, and build a properly graded base so water moves away from your home instead of pooling against the garage. Then we form, reinforce and pour with the thickness and control joints the slab actually needs to move with the ground instead of cracking against it.

How We Build a Driveway

Every driveway starts with a walkthrough. We look at the slope, where the water wants to go, how wide you need the apron for your vehicles, and whether you want a broom finish, exposed aggregate, stamped pattern or a plain smooth trowel. You get a clear estimate before anything gets torn out.

From there the crew handles demolition and haul-off of the old surface, subgrade prep and compaction, formwork, rebar or mesh, the pour, and the finish work. Control joints get cut on schedule, we cure it properly, and we leave the site clean. You know exactly what your driveway will look like when the forms come off.

Driveway Repair and Replacement

Not every driveway needs to come out. If you're dealing with a few cracked panels, a settled section near the garage, or a surface that's spalling and flaking, patching and repair can buy you years at a fraction of the cost of a full replacement. We'll tell you honestly which one you actually need.

When a slab is past saving — widespread cracking, major settlement, or drainage that can't be corrected — a full replacement lets us fix the base problem at the same time, so the new driveway lasts instead of repeating the failure.

Serving Phoenix and the Surrounding Valley

We've installed driveways across Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe, Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Tolleson and Cave Creek. Every one of those cities has its own soil conditions, HOA considerations and permit expectations, and we've worked in all of them.

Because we're a local, family-owned crew, we're not driving in from out of town to pour a slab and disappear. We're here when you have questions, and we stand behind the work we put on your property.

Common Questions

Most residential driveways are poured in a day, but the timeline depends on size, demolition and prep. Curing takes several days before you should park on it — we'll tell you exactly when it's ready.

Concrete moves with temperature and soil, which is why we cut control joints — those let it crack where we want it to instead of randomly across the surface. Proper base prep and reinforcement are what keep the cracking controlled and cosmetic rather than structural.

We can get very close on color and finish, especially with a standard broom finish. If you're replacing a section beside old concrete, we'll talk through how the seam and the color will read once it's cured.

Yes. Demolition and haul-off are part of the job, and we leave the site clean when we're done.
